The Internet Writing Workshop is accepting new members.

We post our work by e-mail, get critiques, and critique the work of
others. Right now we have about 300 members. If you write and
need critiques from other writers (don't we all?), this is the best
place on the Web to get them. Groups for short fiction, novels,
non-fiction, poetry, and several other kinds of writing are thriving.
One list most people in the group belong to is for general discussions
about all sorts of writing problems. Another popular one is
"Practice," in which an exercise is posted very week to help
members whet their skills. Members run the gamut from veteran
published writers to newbies, and all are welcome. First-rate
moderators keep things civilized.

Posting to our group for critiques does *not* constitute publication.
Many of our members, including me, have gone on to publish things
that we posted for critiques at the IWW.

As for me, I have found every day I've spent as a member of the
IWW both profitable and enjoyable. Knowing people are there to
critique my work helps keep me writing. Getting those critiques
teaches me how to write better. I'd be glad to answer private letters
from anybody who is interested.
